Terms of Service
In effect since August 2, 2026.
These terms govern the use of the CercaPros website (the "Platform"). By registering on the Platform, you confirm that you have read and accept the terms below. How we handle your personal data is described separately in the Privacy Policy, and cookie use in the Cookie Policy.
1. What the Platform is
The Platform is a service that helps clients ("Clients") find service providers ("Specialists") and vice versa. The Platform is not a party to the service agreement between a Client and a Specialist, does not provide services itself, and does not control their quality, timing, or outcome.
All agreements about price, timing, scope, and quality of work are arranged directly between the Client and the Specialist. The Platform is not the Specialists' employer and has no employment relationship with them.
2. Registration and account
The Platform may only be used by people 18 or older. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18.
Using most of the Platform's features requires registering with accurate information (name, email and/or phone number).
You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure and for all actions taken under your account.
A Specialist may voluntarily upload an identity document to earn the "Identity verified" badge. The document is used solely for review by the Platform's moderators, is not published, and is not shared with third parties.
3. User rights and obligations
It is prohibited to provide knowingly false information about yourself or your services, or to post offensive, unlawful, or misleading content.
The Platform may restrict or block access to an account for violating these terms.
4. Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided "as is". We make reasonable efforts to keep the site running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The Platform is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Specialists, or for disputes between a Client and a Specialist. Such disputes are to be resolved directly between the parties.
5. Changes to these terms
We may update this document. For substantial changes, we try to give advance notice. Continuing to use the Platform after changes are published means you accept the new version.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay, including Law No. 4868/2013 on Electronic Commerce and Law No. 1334/1998 on Consumer Protection. Disputes are resolved at the location of the Platform's operator.
